A single black bird perched on a branch, elegantly joined to the small elliptical frame. The frame and branches are handmade and finished from solid American cherry, maple, or walnut. The bird is individually carved in basswood, painted, fit, finished, and attached with care. Birds may vary slightly as they are handmade.
The cherry and walnut mirror frames are finished with many layers of tung oil and hand rubbed to a satin sheen. The maple mirror frames are finished with water based polyurethane and hand rubbed to a satin sheen. A timeless finish that protects and brings out the beauty of the grain.

All mirrors are made in our studio from high-quality, sustainably sourced North American hardwoods, using traditional mortise and tenon joinery. Mirror finishes are durable and hand rubbed to a satin sheen. Mirror glass is 3/16” thick, yielding a reflection without distortion. Ready to hang with a french cleat.
